Sanctuary of St. Romedius

The Sanctuary of San Romedio, in the vicinity of Sanzeno in Val di Non, is certainly the most interesting example of medieval Christian art found in Trentino. It is a well-known pilgrimage site, built on a limestone cliff more than 70 meters high.

From the village of Lana, take the Monte San Vigilio cable car to the mountain of the same name. is famous throughout Europe because it used to turn red-a unique phenomenon! Today, however, the colors of its waters range from blue to incredible shades of green and it is definitely one of the places you must visit when you come to Non Valley!

 

The lake can be reached by car or by shuttles in 30 minutes, the road closes in winter.
